Example of application

When lacrimal duct surgery is necessary, the goal is to provide the discharge path between corner of eye and nasal cavity. Dacryocystorhinostomy with a 980 nm WOLF or 1470 nm WOLF could be the first choice.

For this application, the diode laser can be effectively used with a stable, flexible glass fiber -  contact method.

Various treatments can be applied with an A.R.C. Laser:

  • DacryoCystoRhinostomy
  • Nasolacrimal Stenosis
  • Use in conjunction with the micro endoscope
  • Vascular lesions
  • Hemangiomas
  • Telangiectasia
  • Tumor vaporization

Example of application:

Thanks to the smooth A.R.C.  fibers the laser is ideal in combination use with a flexible micro endoscope

A.R.C. Laser is g great companion for countless treatments within the professional ENT:

  • Eustachian tube
  • Lacrimal duct
  • Salivarz duct
  • Microotology
  • Micro-Sinus Surgery

Papilloma

Example of application:

Generated laser light having a wavelength of 532 nm is applied through thinnest glass fibers - non-contact method - to the tissue. The laser for instance is guided to the larynx to treat enlarged veins and haemangiomas as well as papillomas and edema. This painless and well-tolerated treatment is increasingly used in the United States in recent years. It is on the way to replace the surgery under general anesthesia in many cases.

Various treatments can be applied with the laser:

  • Papillomatosis
  • Polypectomy in the field of vocal cords
  • Microsurgery of the vocal cord
  • Vocal cord nodes
  • Dysplasia-distances
  • Haemangioma- and ectasia coagulation
  • early laryngeal carcinoma
  • Glottis carcinoma resection
  • Reinke's edema
  • Tracheal stenosis
  • Laser-assisted Uvulopalatoplasty (LAUP)
  • Tonsillectomy
  • Fibroma- and granuloma resection
  • Partial glossectomy
  • Vocal cord lesions (benign and malignant)
  • Zenkers diverticulum
  • Congenital laryngeal stenoses
  • Cyst removal
  • Tumor excision
  • Neoplastic stenosis
  • Vascular lesions
  • Hemangiomas
  • Telangiectasia
  • Tumor vaporization

Stapes surgery

Example of application:

Performing the Stapes Surgery with the laser can be supported by a laser scanner system. The inexpensive alternative would be a manual procedure with fiber optics. The surgery is performed to "drill a hole" into the footplate to vaporize parts of the stapes and the remainder of the stapes is removed. This operation is usually performed under local anesthesia and requires but a short period of hospitalization and convalescence. A prosthesis or implant is then placed into this opening and connected to the second hearing bone, or the incus to improve hearing again.

Various treatments can be applied with an A.R.C. Laser:

  • Cholesteatomas
  • Stapes surgery
  • Close Stapesprothesen
  • Mucosa-coagulation
  • Paracenteses, myringotomy
  • Vascular lesions
  • Hemangiomas
  • Telangiectasia
  • Tumor vaporization

Example of application:

Generated laser light having a wavelength of 532 nm is applied through thinnest glass fibers - contact method - to the tissue. i.e. turbinate, to shrink the tissue locally. This procedure can be performed on an outpatient basis under local anesthesia.

Various treatments can be applied with the laser:

  • Conchotomy
  • turbinectomy
  • Polypectomy (polyp / papilloma resection)
  • Septal spur removal
  • Epistaxis, Osler
  • Synechiae, stenosis
  • Septoplastie
  • LETP - Laser-assisted Tuboplastics of the Eustachian tube
  • Vascular lesions
  • Hemangiomas
  • Telangiectasia
  • Tumor vaporization
